2015 was dedicated to adventure. I answered to my calling and quit my job, packed my bags, and bought a one way ticket to Madrid. It proved to be a year of experiencing the world and creating an abundance of new art along with new friendships.

2016 was about changes; many of them both big and small, important and some less so. Life brought me back to Miami. I lost my childhood home but gained my first legitimate apartment. I missed Europe everyday, but was given the opportunity to live Miami from a refreshingly different perspective. I let myself be sad, confused, and through reflection have never been happier in my life.

2017, my lucky number 7. I have never been a firm believer that the "new year" is the time to recreate your life. I think every single day of our lives is the time to pursue our dreams, work smarter, share the love with our friends and family, and become our best selves. However, the flip of the calendar surely feels like fresh breeze on a hot day.

Cheers to another year of being alive. Think big, act big, and let's make it and everyday until the stars are within our reach.

Santa Pug Lagerfeld for Christmas

How is it already December? This year has flickered by faster than the blink of an eye.

My favorite part about the holiday season, apart from family reunions, the smell of pine and hot chocolate,  and the sight of glittering lights everywhere, is setting up my Christmas decor. This year marks my first official Christmas tree living on my own. I opted for a minimal-modern approach throughout my apartment, selecting statement pieces that would tie the holidays together. My favorite piece is the Santa Lagerfeld Pug Pillow featuring my own illustration. The pillow complimented the colors of my apartment, brought in a very fun element, and mixed my love for dogs and high-fashion.

Latin for Glory Around the World

The month of November has always been one of my favorites; it is a time to reflect upon the recent past months and begin looking forward to the new year ahead. The holiday season is thrown upon us during this time, promoting feelings of excitement, celebration, and even nostalgia.

This November, I am thankful for the opportunity to share my artwork across the world. By making art prints available, I have reached further than I could imagine. Today, Danielle Bernstein of WeWoreWhat and owner of the original Wild West bull posted a snippet of her new gallery wall with my piece in the corner.

It was extremely satisfying (to say the least) to see an artwork that I put in so much time, thought, and effort amidst beautiful and inspiring pieces in a influencer's New York City apartment. Danielle is just one amongst others that have posted their Latin for Glory art...and for that, I am also thankful.
