A Modern Story

As an artist, I have experimented with an endless variety of styles, mediums, subject matters, and palettes. Art has the power to transform, evolve, and open windows to views we have never seen before.

Running of the Bulls will have a parallel art series that offers a more modern version of my story. Where as Running of the Bulls is characterized by saturated, refined, and immensely detailed compositions, this 2.0 series succumbs to a carnal passion reflected through paints, drips, splatters, crooked lines, and vast canvases.

Below is No. 1 of the series. A large white canvas, symbolic of the beginning of my life, layered with a mapped out bull in graphite below an unrefined neon pink graffiti bull, and crowned with a veil of rose gold abstract roses.

Stay tuned to see how the story continues to unfold.

IF KARL LAGERFELD HAD AN ALTER EGO....

It would certainly be a Santa Pug....

Better hope you make it on the 'Nice' List because this year Santa Lagerfeld Pug is taking over, and he is ready to drop down the chimney in style and scatter Chanel and Fendi goodies all under your Christmas tree.

P.S. Leave behind some dog treats and milk- Highly recommended.

No Carbs for Thanksgiving

There are many things that I am thankful for in my life, including my health, family and friends.

I am also very thankful for everyone's support, kind words, and admiration for my work. A lot of thought, love, and dedication is put into each piece I create, and to feel so much appreciation from other people, means everything.

In ode to this year's Thanksgiving, I created a series of plated heels, each representing a different appetite, or style. Do not let the fork and knife deceive you, these plates have zero carbs, are fat free, and very low in sodium.

Bon Appetite!

Refined

Exotic

Flirty

No meal is complete without something...Sweet

A R T : Claudio Souza Pinto

Claudio Souza Pinto, was born in Brazil in 1954. His success as an artist initiated when Alan Aouizerate, the French art collector, admired Claudio's art and invited him to exhibit at Le Bains and The Opera in Paris. His style is artistic, surreal, romantic, an humorous. The boldness of colors, fantastic realism, and evidence of emotion captures viewers from far away and leaves them entranced. Many respected architects and art collectors have delighted in Claudio's paintings, including move director, Jacques Bral, who commented "Claudio's paintings have a fantastic realism and a visual discussion about melancholy and love. Sadness or happiness is always present in his paintings, even if in spirit".

I was given the opportunity to see a few of Claudio's works of art in person during Art Walk in Miami and was incredible impressed. The large scale of his paintings, along with the magic posed through both context and artistic quality is truly admirable.
Below I have included a few of his great pieces. Enjoy!

"For the artist, life is a great play. All of us have different behavior masks, and they emerge depending on the occasion...in the theater of life."
