Alter Ego

Upon my move back to Miami from Madrid, I not only experienced external changes around me, but also very incredible internal ones. My days were spent reflecting upon everything life has to offer; upon the endless possibilities and how vast this world really is. In this reflection, I realized how dynamic we as human beings are, and how we have the power to change our destiny.

Alter Ego, is a piece unique from everything I created. It was inspired by a graffiti painting I made in Madrid, but with more layers, textures, depth, and personality. It is less sweet and more edgy. It reflects a side of me rarely demonstrated to the public: my affinity for rock n roll, passion for adventure, quench for wilderness, and beautiful nonconformity. This painting was created with an "unfinished" black acrylic background, webbed-textured spray paint, white splatters, and a rose-gold bull with metallic drips. Alter Ego is my pursuit for breaking the right  rules with ultimate style and sophistication.

Madrid to Miami

Today marks two weeks since I moved back to Miami after a brilliant journey in Madrid. As most incredible things in life go, everything happened suddenly, unexpectedly, and it has ignited a fire of excitement within me. After a little over a year living in Spain, I am back in the Miami jungle with a novel worth of ideas.

I look forward to creating, developing, and sharing unique art with you that will share my story and pass along the inspiration. Determined for a new studio, new projects, and new art.

La Peccata Minuta | Nudist Song Illustration

Nudist Song: La Respuesta al Zapato Perfecto

Above is the illustration I created for La Peccata Minuta of the Nudist Sandal by Stuart Weitzman. Maria Conchita Arcala, author and creator of La Peccata Minuta, held a discussion with her audience wether they prefer to invest in a statement piece, such as a Charlotte Olympia style, or something more simple, such as the Nudist by Stuart Weitzman. The majority explained that they rather spend the mullah on a simple, versatile, and more comfortable piece.

The article, Nudist Song: La Respuesta al Zapato Perfecto (The Answer to the Perfect Heel) goes into detail on the factors that make a pair such as the Nudist Song so desirable amongst celebrities and its fans. Apart from its clean lines and assortment of available materials, the Nudist heel is indeed comfortable for long wear and flattering on all types of feet. In conclusion, this simple pair checks off all the boxes and is well worth the investment.

The Doughnut Factory

There is nothing more alluring than the pairing of high fashion and sweets. Due to this craving, I created a pair of doughnuts with a sweetness you can almost taste, and a look fit for the runway. The first batch of The Doughnut Factory series, are inspired by two of my all-time favorite brands, Dolce & Gabbana and Stella McCartney.

First recipe replaces sprinkles with luxe red lipstick, golden leaves, lacquered roses, and pearls from Dolce & Gabbana's Fall 2015 Lipstick Mary-Jane pumps.

Second recipe showcases my favorite Stella McCartney collection, as seen at Fashion Week around the world, featuring an assortment of embroidered lips, studded hearts, and embellished matches amongst a velvety pink icing. It is the perfect combination of romance, fun, and a little fire.

Both illustrations have been added to the Latin for Glory Society 6 shop where you can find prints, home decor, phone accessories, and apparel.
